Bard Of Blood: Emraan Hashmi Graduates From Serial Kisser To Serial Killer
The much anticipated Netflix original series Bard Of Blood will be out with its first season anytime now and we are all gearing up to binge-watch this political spy thriller! Bard Of Blood has an overly talented star cast that includes Emraan Hashmi, Vineet Kumar Singh, Sobhita Dhulipala, Kirti Kulhari, Jaideep Ahlawat, and Rajit Kapoor, amongst others. It is produced by Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment and the trailer of Bard Of Blood that released a month ago raised a lot of excitement!

While we are definitely excited to binge-watch the show, we are even more excited to see Emraan Hashmi in the all-new action avatar! The actor was once known for being Bollywood’s serial kisser and has locked lips with several beauties right from Mallika Sherawat, Tanushree Dutta to Vidya Balan! His films were never complete without the sizzling lip locks and his movies Aashiq Banaya Aapne, Raaz 3, Murder, and several others were famous mainly because of this! After winning the tag of ‘Serial Kisser’, looks like Emraan Hashmi is now ready to earn the tag of ‘Serial Killer’ instead and leave the old tag behind!

A few months ago, Emraan Hashmi had told that he is letting go of that image in an interview with Bombay Times. He said, “I am done with it. I am letting it go now because I'm just fed up of it. Kissing is fine. I don't have an issue with kissing on screen but it's what happens after that. Everyone puts the spotlight on whether I have a kiss in the film or not. My producers have been guilty of using my kissing scenes for promotions of films but I think things are different today. Youngsters are okay with it. Call it a generation gap or anything but I shut my ears on hearing half the things. It's a culture shock for me. I fear for my son when grows up (laughs)"

Bard Of Blood will release on September 27 and this show will be Emraan Kashmi’s debut in the digital space. The story is based on the book of the same name written by Bilal Siddiqui. The series will have seven episodes and is directed by Ribhu Dasgupta.
